    many people go with them since they offer the largest combustion chamber of factory heads

    Awesome! Then I'll scratch heads off the list & use the stockers. I thought these old iron heads were junk. My engine has over 186k on it & its going to get a rebuild soon.
    1999 Silverado 2500LD EC, SB, 4x4, LT, 6.0 V-8 (LQ4), 4L85E, 4.10 gears & a G80. 4" homemade intake, 3" magnaflow 2 into 1, diablosport predator tuner.

    317s is what most people run with FI thats the aluminum 6.0 head

    get aluminum heads, you can run more compression before you get detonation with aluminum
