Looking For a Fairly Quiet Stainless Muffler, 2 In/2 out, Ideas???

...For my '96 OBS Shortbed. 2-2 1/2" in...2-2 1/2" out muffler. Anyone have a recommendation? Am considering the MagnaFlow #12568, but am afraid it won't be quiet enough. Thanks for your input.

My dynomax x pipe muffler is not very loud but still sounds good. Ask ImportThis or SierraMan both have heard my exhaust on numerous occasions.

What about the new Flowmaster Super 40 series? I think that's the one. Supposed to be "quieter" than regular Flowmaster. I've heard Borla's are supposed to be "quiet" as well but correct me if I'm wrong.

Did not realize that they were dual in and dual out. Thanks, I will look into that muffler. Would that be the stock muffler for an OBS...or NBS, or?

06 4.8's idea is the best......imo, but to each his own. Run the stock muffler with an electric cutout, best of both worlds quiet when you want or insanely loud when you want.

future: 6.0, stage 2 heads with tsp22x cam and 3xxx stall.
