Oh I know, screw the Hemi. I mean the wedge motors, the 440. Then again I'm partial because I have one, but I'll put it this way It's my last Mopar for a while. Nothing against it except cost. I coulda built a pair of BBC's for what I've got in my 440, and it's fairly mild.

The sad thing about BBC's running that fast is that you need 550+ cubes to touch the 8's. Im pretty sure if you could build a LS motor to 600 cubes it would be stupid how slow a BBC would look comparatively. Just sayin. Lets say cube for cube...we will even go with big cubes cuz "life dont begin till 500cubes"...so a 502LSX vs a 502BBC I bet your BBC will get SMOKED by a long shot. The LSx will make more power for less money and doesnt need a carb.

But it's a moot point because you can't build an LS motor that big. That's why BBCs are best for big cubes.

some one find me a 327 to race, even though its bigger i might stand a chance,.......i would like to make one statement/opinion, a BBC does sound pretty freagin sweet though
