I finally got my swap completed yesterday. Motor runs great when I keep the rpm around 1000. If I slowly open the slow the throttle it only revs to about 2000. If I mat it it won't do anything. My buddy put his modis on it and checked everything out and everything was reading like it should. Any ideas?

bad or no grounds? did you upgrade your fuel pump? The fuel pressure/volume required for these engines is enormous compared to the older trucks. What fuel pressure regulator are you using?

I used the vette regulated filter with the walbro 255 pump for the g/n. I have about 53 psi of fuel at the rail. Maybe my grounds aren't good enough I just repainted the whole engine bay while it was out. I check those and see if it helps.

Another buddy brought his hp tuner up n found the pcm had a 2000 rev limiter, so he changed that and we are good now.

the only time my truck only operates between 1000 & 2000 rpm is after i hit the fuel cutoff
