    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    I guess 2005 squirrels running on a wheel just aren't enough. Maybe it's time to trade this one in on a different one?

    i'm really thinking it's the gears. hell on the highway i can be cruising about 80MPH and not even break 2000 RPMs. i think new gears and a tune will help out a lot.

    Saw a 2006 RCSB 4.8L on the dyno Saturday. It made 224 hp with only 130 miles on the odometer. They had to dyno in 2nd gear because the rev limiter kept being hit in 3rd.

    yea, i can tell it has some power...it's just them damn gears.

    Needs a gear BAD. Then a stall to help out that horrible low end that the 4.8 has.
