    Well I did this about a year ago and lived the results. But after about six months of abuse I broke the output shaft of my tranny. I wasn't making enough power to do that so I asked around. The overload springs are also a traction aid. They keep the rearend from twisting too much. This is what happens. The rearend twisted too much and put the output shaft of my tranny in a bind, finally it broke. So just some FYI if you plan on doin this mod then invest in some type of traction bar setup. Cal-tracs are kinda expensive but they are alot cheaper than a tranny

    Thanks for that info, i did a little research and found a couple of vids, where it shows the rear end twisting upwards. Also showing the leaf springs bending into an S shape like Chad(06 4.8) said.
