WTB: F-body accessory drive
Collecting parts for a GENIII swap into my 78 vette. Need to find a f-body accessory drive setup or any of the pieces you may have. Don't need alternator, I can use a truck one.
Need F-body oil pan and related parts also.

I got a PS pump, pulley and reservoir. Still need the rest. ttt

Is the Hummer oil pan the same as F bodies?
-
No, they are different.
From what I have found so far, the H3 pan will clear everything in my car, but with the deeper sump it may hang down too low. I need to measure the one on the engine now and see how much difference it would make.
Do you have one for sale? How much?
I also have a truck pan with sump and pickup for trade if anyone is looking. Have tons of truck front drive accessories too.

No,I do not have one. I found H3 Hummer pans at this site http://www.currentperformance.com/Swap_Parts/parts.html
Thought this might work.

You can get that same kit from GMPD for $145ish shipped.
Now that I measured my car I think that pan will work. There is nothing under the engine except the steering. The H3 pan would hang down less than the pan on the 350 that is in it now. The truck pan might even work, but it would hang down about 1" more than the one in it now.
I wish I could find someone who had done it with this pan to be sure.

That's even a better price. I have 67 coupe that I thought about doing the same thing. I considered the Street Shop Frame. I have 6.0 L and 6 sp (Tick Per. built) and 96 Front and Rear. The C3's are
easier to do the 6 speed change than older (C2) models. I purchased a 69 and 73 new but long gone. Check the C2 Corvette Forum to see if someone has made swap.
