well the parts place cant seem to get a power steering hose with the fittings that i need. so, i cut them apart and put new hydro fittings on it. if it doesnt work how i have it, ill just get a custom on from Napa. i tried to get one for a 2002 chevy but thats a dealer part according to the parts place by the house.

the belt i used for stock ALT/AC off the 94, stock power steerig pump off of the 5.3, 08 water pump, stock crank pulley, tensioner, is a 1090k6 after what seemed like 2000 different belts.

imma get the truck up and runnin tomorrow with the CAI fabbed up and the speedo should be hooked up if Redheartbeats advice on page 12 is correct for my hunk of junk.

imma get insurance back on it tomorrow i hope and i should be able to drive it to work tuesday night

i had a bad pressure line on mine, i cut the lines bc whoever put it on striped the pump side out so i wasnt gonna fight it. my powersteering line is the same fitting size on both sides, the one the parts store has is a smaller fitting (back of pump) into a bigger fitting (1/2" or so) my gear box requires the same small fitting. they asked if i had hydroboost wth this ole junk didnt have that...not a 94 V6 huh? my old ps hose went into the frame rail and made like 2 loops it was a PITA to cut out lol.

exhaust is going to be 3" custom Y into a 3" magnaflow 22" long turned down right before the rear end. hopefully the exhaust shop has the 3bolt flanges to weld to the LT/new Y pipe, plus another one to break away the exhaust system from the Y pipe. im also not going to do the typical Y pipe that curves under the tranny before the tranny mount. im going to run it under the tranny mount, around the tail shaft, then into a Y

well the truck moves and shifts into 2nd smoothly. (road was short didnt wanna drive too far) my e fans didnt come on, but then again its not connected to the AC like NP says to do, it is connected to the blue connector pin 42. i think it should come on through the ecm i dunno. any help?

my ac panel lights up with the key off but then again the black wire for my AC stuff is grounded to the firewall(which i took as a ground but it may not be)

also my water temp sensor isnt in my water pump anymore, i moved it to the T for the coolant jug, the heater core, an the water pump. should that sensor be grounded to the block, like it should be installed in the old TBI intake vs a head and such? imma try an jump a wire from the sensor itself to the block and see if thats what it needs. if not then imma tap intothe NP harness an hope the sensor in the drivers head doesnt trip out an lets my gauge read the temp.

any help on these problems please gimme some input! im not a wiring person

    Its moving! Awesome!

For the fans, Id contact Nelson to see exactly how its supposed to be wired up.
Lol your ac/heater dash panel lights up all the time?! How did you do that??
So whats the problem with the temp sensor?? Its not giving a reading or what? Are you asking if the sensor is self grounding? As far as I know its not. I dunno what you did cause I didnt mess with the wiring for mine at all just plugged it in and it worked. I think if you tap into the new harness it will give a false reading. Why dont you just put the dang thing in the passenger head like I did??!! It works and is easy you just need an adapter or tap it for the right size.
