Or, if it's 03-07classic, there is a harness directly behind the a/c controls clipped to the back side of the subdash. Disconnect it and you can use the normal 70-2003 metra harness to plug into it, but you will need to get acc from the junction block. I've been able to avoid replacing speakers by doing it this way.

I learned that one from chuck. I never found a short cut on the 07+ though, but this makes the bypass a breeze in the 03-07classic trucks and 03-06 SUVs.

And i read that theres a harness that runs under the cuphold i think.or around there.can i tap into it from there?

If you use the harness behind the a/c controls all you need is the 70-2003 or gmrc-01. No need to splice into or cut any wires. There is an accessory 12v at the junction block on a pin. It's with the SEO group of pins, fuse it at 10a to be safe. If you get the gmrc-01 or equivalent then you can keep your chime and RAP and there is no need to find a +12v acc, it's more expensive but it's the route I would take if it were mine.

Ahh,im confused man. Let me see if we are on the same page. All im trying to do is get RCAs hooked up to my amp for the DD

We are on a completely different page then. You are wanting to add a sub and amp to a bose system? In that case; There is a little plug underneath the cup-holders that has 4 wires in it. The wires should be blue, blue/white, green, and green/white; These are the subwoofer wires and will already be filtered at 80hz LPF. You can use all four for your LOC but make sure it is in phase(best way is to use the striped wires for your negatives and solid wires for your positives). I usually left a foot or two folded up and tied with the LOC in case an aftermarket radio is desired later. If you are adding an amp that will be for mids and highs then you can either use the harness behind the a/c controls or the one that Trey (dropem) mentioned.

Sweet man. Yea im hooking up another amp for my sub. Ill go ahead and get the wires for my LOC from underneath the cupholder. Thanks alot man
