Thread: Oil Pressure Gauge?

    I used the gen 3 sensor and it feeds the ecm and the gauges in my truck...why run two sensors?

    EDIT: I did swap to 95+dash and gauges as well..

    Just to clarify: The gen 3 oil pressure sensor will give the correct signal for the OBS gauge? And did you splice the OBS gauge wire inline with the gen 3 wire to the ecm?

    Looked back at my wiring diagram, i ran the tan/white wire directly from the gen III sensor to my 95 gauges. No drilling, No tapping. Works perfectly. Looks like nothing went to the PCM for oil pressure, in fact the only thing that goes is oil level switch and I bypassed that.
