I just ordered a Flex-a-lite 292 fan kit and Corvette servo from Summit.

The 292 kit is kinda expensive but it's a stand alone variable speed kit made for our trucks with the small radiator (1999 1/2 to 2004). New fans and shroud, but no wiring harness needed and no computer flash should help offset the high price. It should look nice and last a while I hope.

if your upgrading to the 34" radiator, why don't you upgrade to the factory fans that match up to it? just curious why

He's getting the Flex-a-lite 282 fan kit which is for the bigger radiator. They look pretty impressive and I'd guess they probably flow more air than the factory fans. I'll bet his A/C will blow pretty cold in traffic with those...

Seemed to increase the throttle response. Plus my AC is ice cold as soon as it starts up.

Should increase gas mileage a tiny bit too.
