A converter not going to help the tranny just help your times. I would at least get a good shift kit TRANS-GO is a favorite, I like superior also. There's a bunch of upgrades that can be done just how much money do you want to spend. Anyhow I think you will be safe with just a shift kit @ this point 4L80E is a tuff one.

have you checked your pully sizes? you can change the to get more boost. i dont have alot of experiance with fI. there should be a site somewhere that could tell u the pully size you need for the amount of boost u need. if that dont work you might have to go with a bigger charger.
also earlier in thread you were talking about porting your heads. you could go with l92 heads and gain alot.
I never care about dyno numbers.... its just a tool.... but 5psi is low.. what camshaft/springs did you go with?.. Did you bypass the factory PCV system?? how high did you spin the motor rpm? most times prochargers will not get enough load on the dyno... and see 2-3 less psi then they do on the street.....
425 at 5psi is still pretty impressive!!
like casey said, check the boost on the street and if it is still too low you can get a smaller pulley to get more boost
