Whats the difference in lock-up and non-lock-up converters?

One locks up and the other doesn't. A few hundred dollars in price too.

For what reasons would you not use anyone else?

Well personal experience with Precision. I also lurk and watch and listen to what everyone else says about lots of stuff. I have not heard one bad thing about circle d ever. I don't recall ever hearing anything bad about precision but have been lurking a long time.

that right there is well worth the price of any of circle-d converter, when i got my pi triple disc and talked to there techs, i ended up with a 4k that was so tight it felt stock and wouldnt brake stall pass 2k, got chris to restall it now it works like its suppose to

its very important to discuss your setup and your plans for it, this helps in reccomending a good stall for ones setup
