Thread: break in ?

    im going to be puttin in a TR220/220 112 ad was wondering if there was any sort of break in procedure? also im using mobil1 do i need to change to reg oil for break in? and should i use cam assembly lube or oil for installation? lookin for some infio thanks

    I just used Shell 5w-30 regular oil for about 500 miles with a delco filter and then switched right back to Mobil1. When I installed it, instead of coating it with motor oil, i used assembly lube.
