Do you have any idea how fast the nation would get out of debt if it was legalized, and taxed?

No we would not get out of debt. We would waste the money on other stupid crap.
You clearly see my point though. It would help our economy tremendously, however our elected officials would squander the money.

We should use that money to convince Mexico to join the United States and dissolve the border and rid Mexico of the corruption that is there.

Agreed, along with many of the other opinions expressed. Also, smaller population in jails.

Arny should set the example in Ca and solve his jail problem at the same time.

word says they are very close to legalizing it but it would be the same as alch rules. must be over 21, cant have it in a vehicle, driving under the influence bla bla. there are already over 600 clinics and clubs in southern ca already mostly in LA. so well see what happens

Thats the way it needs to be across the board. Smoke, drive, go to jail. I think it's hard to narrow testing down to being within a few hours. Saliva test is the closest they have gotten and I think it can go up to 3 days so if you had smoked three days prior to being tested you could still be screwed. Another reason why I would like to be in CA, along with the beaches, mountains, and weather.

not only would it generate tax $'s if it was legalized, but people would also blow more $ on stuff and create more jobs, stoned people are usually in a good mood and less violent, and best of all no more dealing with drug dealers
