i would like to see it too. ive had my motor open a few times and it still looks great on the inside. cross hatches are still there and theres no lip at the top of the cylinder bore. zero sludeg on the top or bottom end. about once a year before race season i will run some seafoam through the engine. i dont know if it helps or not but the guts of my motor sure are pretty for it's age.

now watch me spin a bearing next week

When I go to do my cam swap I might just do a leak down and see what happens. I need to run some seafoam trough here soon before I tear it down.

Stock bottom ends are alot stronger than people give them credit for. I sprayed the piss out of my stock mustang 2V for years, and when I took it apart there was little to no wear on the engine!

yep. if i had to rebuild my engine i would just put in some forged pistons with the stock rods and crank with some nice rod bolts and call it a "built" motor.

it sucks that my engine was fine though

More N2O can change that...or you can spray it in overdrive and really have a ball at the top end...

I was actually gonna say sorry when I first saw this but it was so impressive that I couldn't.

I was just thinking...I remember when Dale broke his chain in the 5.3 @ ~310,000 miles he said there was still factory cross hatch in all the cylinders.
