Thread: STS/LQ4/12psi Dyno results

    Had the truck on a dyno today and I must say I'm not that happy with the results, 305 hp and 290 tq. I'm going to a different dyno next week to see if ity is any better or if the truck is just a dog. Everyone so far said the numbers are very low for my setup.

    I also get a misfire code at topend but I thought it was the smaller torque converter because I could never feel the miss, now the dyno guy said he felt it miss and has got me wondering. I've tried running no meth and I still get the miss. any ideas?

    Sounds like you have the parts and pieces but not very well matched together. The tune may be way out of whack there.

    yes...there is something deffinetly a miss with that setup....should be way stronger than that......

    Bud8fan, how much boost where you running on your dyno pulls?

    My stock LQ9 had 280 RWHP and 312 RWTQ. Somethings not right with that setup...

    Definitely not right. Get 'er tuned so I can know what 10 psi does. I plan on crankin' mine up soon.
