stage II

I went to the dealership today to tune a few trucks and I got some more pics of the progress.
I love this color!! It's coming out great. The whole truck is getting stripped down and painted, it'll turn out nice!

(ignore the dents on the bed between the bed and cab, you won't be able to see those)

I have a whole front end on order and it should be in any day, new grill (smoothed over bowtie) painted to match the truck, new headligths, clear parking lights, clear side markers, smoothie bumper painted, new stock taillights. It should look real clean from the front.
It's also getting a new windshield (small crack in it) and all new rubber and door molding, a nice silver tint on the windows, not the tacky silver tint, it's still kind of black, but with a small hint of silver.


I'm going with some weld 15's for racing and probably 17's for the street. Mickey thompsom makes a nice 14" street tire.

I'm not sure if it's going to be ready for the shootout, but it's fun trying to rush at the last minute

Damn, that's one nice looking color! That truck is going to be too sweet to drive. I can't wait to see it together and running. Sounds like time for an "all hands on deck" day to help finish it and put it together before raceday.

nah, no bumper cover, they're kind of big looking. they look nice on the newer trucks. i'm going for a nice monochrome look, that doesn't stand out too much.

The color looks very nice in the sunlight.

My replacement truck looks like the farmtruks big brother. Same color extended cab with SWB. Now the farmtruk is going to look like Micheal Jackson after a trip to the plastic surgeon, only better.
