    DBW to DBC help please

From what I understand is the cable operated throttle body will bolt directly up where my current DBW throttle body is. My question is this. Is the intake the same as far as where the throttle cable would bolt up at. Here is a link to better explain what I am asking

    Lokar Throttle Kickdowns

I am referring to the 5th picture down the LS1 Throttle bracket would this bold to my intake even though my set up is currently DBW. I am not to where I can go look at it. Thanks for any info.

The dbw intake will not have holes for the cable bracket. You can either make your own or buy a dbc intake.

Actually all of the gen 3 DBW truck intakes will still have the inserts to bolt down a cable bracket.

If you need a cable and/or bracket PM me, I'm going back to DBW with my next build so I'm parting out what I have now.

Do you have a picture of the DBW throttle body that came on that engine? If it is the one I need I will trade you a cable TB for it.

I've done three DBW to DBC conversions and none of the intakes had all the thread inserts in them. There is one that is usable and I have had another intake that had two of the inserts but the third one is always missing.

Yes, but he said it is a 2001 engine. It will have the insert on that intake.
