and chevy is made in canada. half of toyota is built in america, by companies lead by americans. infact, the only toyotas that have problems are the ones that were built in america....theres your true american engineering for ya! all japanese built cars are not affected by the recall.

some of the chevy plants are in mexico and canada, but we still call it american.

keep believing what you want to believe. That money doesnt stay here only the percentage they pay their workers.

its assembled in america. different then made in america

dont forget chevy plants are also in america. theres a stamping plant up the road a few miles from me. Ones that make the panels.

well technically canada and mexcio are still part of north america

i guess its true in the grand scheme of things. i just get to see the tundra being built in texas, and a toyota processing center in Houston where they come off of the rail as a car shell. its a japanese based company that caters to the american market (and every other market)

back to the topic. if you know anyone driving a toyota that is affected by the recall, dont freak out lol. media is blowing it all out of proportion.

Only because they use different parts on the japanese models, not because "americans" are putting them together.

GM isn't recalling the Vibe (it's a Matrix) yet, offering incentives to Toyota customers though
