Hmmmm.....Corvettes use an electronic throttle. I guess all error codes are going to be shut off in the PCM to keep throttle pedal codes from popping up. It will be interesting to see what happens. Keep us informed.

    Hi,

From what I've been told, we are actually picking the codes we are going to allow to be sent while turning off the ones we do not want. We've eliminated the BCM from the PCM, so we've already eliminated the PASS-Key - though I really didn't want to just come out and tell everyone on the board that...

    Take care,

yeah, VATS is disabled in almost every custom PCM programmed. There is just about no way to get around it. I disabled so many codes in my last PCM i wondered if I had any left turned on when all was said and done.

    Hi,

We had plenty of codes to choose from. Here's a good website in case someone has a C5 Vette...http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm

    Wow!!!

I could never have thought this would turn out so well. I got the truck today. That thing stomps. It looks almost completely stock. The custom dual exhaust that they made fits up underneath the body - you don't see any exhaust tips sticking out.

Its gonna take some getting use to. Maybe I can post some pics soon.

    Take care,

That was one sweet engine. Was it dynoed in the f-body? Mongoose 205s are over $2400. You've got one sweet setup there.

    Hi,

I've got a couple of pics. Will look into how to post them to the board. In the meantime. I've been getting use to this thing. Oh man! To be completely honest, I don't care what comes up on the dyno (planned for this coming Saturday) because oh-my-goodness!!!

A BMW 540i was my first, but judgement had to be exercised because local law enforcement. We went up to 50 (speed limit was 45), but that car never got up beside me (at least half a length).

Next, was a 5.0. I'll admit, it was not a complete kill...but thats just because the horse turned into a chicken and didn't put his peddle where his ego was. Here's how it went. came up screaming on the far right side of a three lane and came around me and the guy in the middle lane just doing the speed limit. I picked it up and obviously suprised him. He could not hange top speed. So we came to the next intersection.

There was a truck turning left into my lane when the light turned green, so I did the smart thing and pulled back. The "Stangk" jumped on it (whatever). I pulled up beside him at the next light and completely dropped the hammer cause the lanes were clear. The coward, he backed off and didn't step up. Instead, he turned to the left. That's okay though, we both know who's boss...he he.

Lastly, I know I'm pushing it, but I actually got the desire to go after our fastest big brother - a Vette. He was in front of me at a traffic light. The light changed and he sluggishly took off from the light, but then he pushed it up. I did not overtake him as he was getting onto the highway and I was staying on the access road - too many THP out there. But I at least hung with him...

Hope to get some pics uploaded either later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm taking trying a little test pic.

    Take care.
