    BlueL92 has a 6.2L swap in his regcab, it's a 2006 model, regcab, shortbox.
The truck is very quick for a stock engine.
All stock engine, even manifolds, it's already a high 12sec truck.
(it's getting a little motivation for the meet as well)

GM doesn't want a truck to be as fast as the Corvette or faster than their new baby, the Camaro. They learned their lesson back in the GN, Typhoon/Syclone days.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

yeah... that's why the RCSB SS never saw production

that woulda been awesome - a factory RCSB with 400+hp in front of a T56 with a 5 link rear... and a warranty - all for under a projected $30k
00 FRC - just top end, exhaust, and a hot-air intake
    99 Sierra - 5.3 / 5spd

That's why I don't understand (the ailing) GM. Ford made a Lightning and still sold lots of Mustangs.....Dodge made that v10 RT truck thing and still sold Vipers and chargers. It just doesn't seem to make good business sense especially since the profit margin of trucks is so much higher than cars. Again, sorry to vent the frustration.....but GM has always done bonehead things like this......still, I have always bought their products. I feel that will end soon with my realization that they don't make anything I want, or their complete switchover to tiny cars that run on "renewable energy" (like bat poop)
