With a 10" 3000 stall you'll never miss the lower gearing of the 60e. You can get a custom built convertor to bolt right to the LS1 style flexplate, its what I run with a 3500 stall and 3.42 gears.

Yes You could convert to use it. See the 4l80 swap info on front page.
