I had a SS3800 that I ran a 13.4 with pleanty of traction problems on slicks. Most say 4000 stall is the best. With the big stalls you can cruise along at 40-50MPH and spin the tires at will. The bigest problem (beside traction) I had was the lockup slipped a bunch and the tranny ran 200+ degrees on the highway.
