    In order to get the perfect tune, it requires hours of logging and fine tuning.
    Basically it comes down to:

    Optimizing the timing tables
    Optimizing air fuel ratio
    Setting up the transmission to your liking

    Get all those done and you will have the perfect tune.

    But seriously, like Cowl said, it is a steep learning curve, so start reading now and learn all the basics before attempting. After that, it is easy.
