Yeah the only problem I had was the mass air meter was to small for the coupler provided. so I just got a coupler that fit inside there and around my maf.

spectre ftw.. you will have to cut about 3 inches off the tube and drill the whole for the valve cover breather line but it fits perfectly and ive never thrown any codes or nothing. i spent 150 dollars and i really feel it performs just as good as the 300 dollar k&n.

They are pretty much the same. The link i sent you is a spectre without the spectre name on it.

So I have a K&N CAI on my 04 sierra 4.8 and I was wondering if it would fit on My 08 Silverado NNBS 4.8? if not why not?

is the difference supposed to be in the tubing or the filter itself? because if its the filter you could just go to an auto parts store and pick one up for pretty cheap and buy the tubing and mounting brackets off ebay

I didn't even cut the hole in mine. I put a filter on the valve cover tube and called it good.

spectre ftmfw like mentioned before, cut 2.5 to 3" off of the tube and drill a hole for the breather. Pl4boy ran a filter and seems to be running fine, but I had to cut a hole for the breather tube because mine started throwing lean codes
