So far it's just an idea in the making, but if I see something I really want, I go and get it. I'm going to visit and do a ton of researching before leaving the excellent job I currently have and moving thousands of miles from my family and close friends. I just really hate the weather, a lot of the people, and scenery of the town I live in. I love all of my friends, family, and the people I work with here. I just want more, I want to be able to go to the beach or mountains without having to drive 12 hours to either. Cali is the place where I have everything I enjoy at my finger tips. I'm not worried about money or cost of living because I know there is a lot more money to be made. Plus, I won't be making any kind of move until my truck is paid off and Ash has a job. We just both really dislike Wichita Falls. Apart from my friends, family, and job there is nothing I will miss about Texas. I have been looking at homes in Riverside area and they are not too far from comparable homes here as far as price, just depends on neighborhood I guess. I just wanted to get opinions from people who actually live there about how the day to day life goes.

Sticky/broken gauges? I can help. PM me for details.
I dont like the ppl over there much. Everyone is rude and arrogant(at least where i was). it took me 4 hours to travel 75 miles, almost missed my flight. Lots of people i knew had to live 60 miles from base because homes were too expensive. Only good thing was i could go fishing everyday on the shore if i wanted too. But there are places here in texas that can provide that for me![]()

I haven't read all the posts in this yet but STAY AWAY FROM CALIFORNIA!!! I want out of here badddd. With opening a shop, you will have to deal with the EPA, BAR, terrible taxes and property laws, and extremely higher expenses: rent, power, phone etc. You have so many hoops to jump through just to conform with all the stupid laws to make everything "environmentally safe" and to keep all these minorities and liberals happy in their little bubble world. Not a good idea. But the weather is great!![]()
