    racing seats

    i was wanting to and looking into putting some nice racing seats in my truck but i have some questions, will all brands fit or only a certain kind. and how do i go about dealing with the whole pressure senor in the seats for the air bags? and feedback would help thanks

    i plan on doing this soon, from what i gathered i think you'll use your brackets and just mount the seats to them. which will leave the airbag in place..
    Simple: 408 on steroids!

    The airbag sensor is an air pillow that is in the cushion of the original seat, it will need to be installed into the new seat. I believe it is between the cushion and the seat fabric. It has been over a year since I installed leather in a nnbs truck so I'm not 100% on it's location.

    you know what youre right, i had forgot i had to disconnect a wire when i took my seat out!!

    couldn't you just leave that disconnected?


    I pulled the fuse for my airbags day i lifted the truck...seems safer
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    I just took my speedo out and busted the bulbs for abs/airbags (since i removed both from my truck)
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
