    LQ4 into 1991 silverado

i have just installed an iron head LQ4 into my 1991 c2500 silverado, wanting to replave the intake manifold with another model so i can use the twin corvette style engine covers,

    what manifold should i use??
will i get any more performance??
what other mods may be needed to do this??

Ummmm..the only style intake I know of is either the LS1 or LS6. But I think it would be a HUGE waste of time and money to convert over all of the accessories to make this happen just so you can run Corvette valve covers...

I don't understand what you're talking about here. I've put corvette covers on a Fbody engine easily. Do you have pics of what you're looking for?

so you need LS1 or LS6 intake and a 2007+ water pump? Then you need fbody or corvette coil packs and brackets? then you need the correct bolts for the covers to clip into. Maybe he needs me to just box up all these extra parts I have laying around my garage and send them to him. Jeeze, one day I am going to have a record size "FOR SALE" posting on here and bring the site to it's knees.

Bottom line, to make the covers work, read the LS6 Intake Swap thread:

    http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/front...take-swap.html

You don't NEED an LS6 intake to do this, a regular LS1 style intake will work as well.
