    Would this not work for 4X4 also?

    No, they both use the same caliper. I think that the rotors are just 1" bigger.

    the calipers are different, u cant change rotors without changing calipers, i dunno bout having different pistons in the calipers though

    I cross checked the part numbers and they were the same????

    But yeah, one would think that a larger dia rotor would need a different caliper...

    I know that the larger caliper will bolt right up to where the smaller caliper did. There shouldn't be any fitment issues...as long as you run a 17" wheel. This is the reason why GM went from a 16" wheel standard for the 99-03 and then upped to the 17" wheel in 04--because of the larger caliper/rotor size.

    yeah, they have to have the newer caliper...trust me i tried to use the same calipers at first, i didnt notice the rotors were larger at first, and they wont spin with the older calipers on there, and you are also correct on the 17" minimum wheel size...i have to have 17 or bigger now
