Did that guy put in a BBC 454? Ford didn't out a 7.4L motor in their trucks...they had a 7.3L/444 C.I diesel and a 7.5L/460 C.I. gas motor.

Awesome. A manual is my tranny of choice. I have seriously debated putting a T-56 in my truck several times...

There's a first time for everything! How much trouble did u have putting it in......2nd gear?

LOL, with that truck, the 1st gear is a granny gear used for towing. Around town with no load, it is best to take off from a stop in second... But this is all guessing the truck has the stock drivetrain.

ya, that was my bad, it was the 7.3L.

Ya, that's deffinately the way im goin now, once i get about $3500 for everything its on. FLT has em for $2150 new.
