After my girlfriend going through most of the 3 year resto on my 69, she basically understands. She's still not sure why we wanna go fast though. Looks are a good thing to her... a cam and stall are the devil.

My girl always refers to my truck as my #2. She sits there and watches me work on it on the weekends. She drinks her beer, smokes her cigarettes, and doesn't complain. Never says one word about me spending money. her only comment is for me to get my butt in gear and get it done so we can go four wheeling.

Guess I am a lucky one.

    Cool

Mine is the same way, they don't understand that this is what keeps us going. that's the reason we get this toys. Just the way they get tired of the same purse and decide to get a new one. We decide that's time for a new toy. but don't tell her that your gonna sale it to get a 2010 camaro because she will be a up for it.

My NBS 4.8 will beat a NNBS with 5.3, K&N and dual exhaust. And it will take turns that would flip a NNBS.

Dont forget to mention, you have a tune, a 4/6 drop, and bolt ons. Race a NNBS 5.3 with the same mods. Different story sir.

Say that to some of those RVG boys and Casper. You'll sing a different tune.

When I do what I want to my nnbs (in approximately 35-48 years, at the rate Im goin) I don't think anyone will be able to call it slow. Im pretty shocked at how quick my 4.8 is, even bone stock. Besides, be honest here, it's the same damn truck with a different face and a better interior. Mechanically, it's way too close to suggest that there is any real difference.

    nnbs is heavier isn't it?

and i didn't like interior on the nnbs...but i like how the back doors/windows open...my 4 door nbs is a PAIN with the rear suicides if you're trying to let someone in, and cars are parked on both sides of you.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
