These are pretty good headers...not the best but good. Ive got them on my truck right now. There are "better" headers out there, but they cost about 3-4 times that amount...people say Kooks are the best and they cost over a grand if I remember correctly.
I would definitely say that if your somewhere that snows or rains alot to spend the extra monies and get the ceramic coated ones so they dont rust. But if your like me and live where it rains about 3 times a year and never snows then you can get away with the painted ones.
I've installed the ceramic coated headers and they still rusted with the first winter...3 months. My opinion, go with the cheapest if you're not going to go with Stainless...since they're going to rust sooner or later.

The ceramic won't help with rustproofing, as far as I know. It's mainly for heat dissipation and containment in the header tubing. If you're worried about rusting out (like me), then you must go stainless

if you're comparing coated steel vs painted steel, the coating will help prevent external rust but it won't stop any that starts from the inside of the tubing. Some companies coat them inside and out but its pricey. Some stainless steels rust, not all stainless is rust proof.

Marine grade stainless if you can get it. That is definitely rustproof, but not sure of which alloy to look for
