    yeah im not happy with it it took ages too i wish i got one from one of the sponsers now!!! , i really dont wanna get it done again and dont know much about the wiring side of it!,,,, how much of the 78 c10 wiring do you use have an idea ????
    can i just use 8ga from the get go?
    the 12v sw wire looks small to me what does it do ???

    yeah im not about to bad mouth anyone online i will contact the guy personal tell him what i think then if i get a sh!@%y reply , they i will tell him what i think but i will say watch out for people offering there services on ebay!!

    The switch wire would most likely fire the relay to power all the pink leads going to the PCM.

    Yeah, do the 8 gauge since the fans seem to be powered by that fuse block.

    About all you have to use from the original harness is the switched power wire from the keyswitch and the purple starter lead. The rest can go away except a/c leads if you have them. Oh yeah, save the oil pressure, water temp and alternator leads, too.

    OK so keep the switch wire from the truck and connect it too the 12v sw on the harness but the purple starter wire from the truck goes where??

    this might seam retarted BUT!! "Oh yeah, save the oil pressure, water temp and alternator leads, too" where do i hook these up are these on the modded harness !!

    The problem with small time harness builders is they leave so much to be desired.

    Large gauge purple wire from the truck goes to the starter solenoid.

    You'll need a water temp sensor from your stock engine. You can put an adapter in the passenger side head at the rear, there is a plug capping off the hole similar to the drivers side location.

    You'll need an oil pressure gauge from the original engine. There is an oil return cover bolted to the driver side of the oil pan and it can be tapped to install the oil pressure sending unit.

    The alternator lead can be tied into the small gauge wire on the alternator if its just one small gauge lead on the connector. Are there two connectors going to your alternator? Is there a large gauge wire going to the alternator from a battery source? There should be. If you don't have one you'll have to get something.

    Do I need to drive over there and install that thing?

    i tell you what i will fly you up here, Maine is nice this time of year nice but getting cold!!!!!!!! LOL thanks for your help !! i reall appreciate it !!
