    They don't make anything bigger than 5.13s for our trucks(they may make a 5.3x gear though now) last I checked. I would assume he meant 4.56.

    Hes got 4.56s. Ive been talking to him about having Jon install the posi.

    Heck even if he did get 5.56s(hypothetically speaking), with a 32" tall street tire he would shift out of 3rd at 103 mph(with a modest 6000 rpm shift point) which has the potential to run solid 12s with a good 60' time(which I'm almost sure he would have).

    Back on track though.....
    With 4.56 gears and a 4l60e here are the mph on the 3-4 shift with a 6000 rpm shift point:

    with a 26" tall tire=101.8
    28" tire=109.6
    30" tire=117.5
    32" tire=125.3

    Yeah his truck did. But at the time it had 323 gears. and it was babied off the line.

    What kind of tires will you be running? They make enough sizes for slicks that no matter how low you are geared, you will either dead hook or break something.
