The Radix is in. The Nelso tune is in. The trans stuff goes in next week. Fantastic improvement but.... Now what?

What can I do to further improve performance?

Throttle body? Injectors? Hotter ignition of some sort? Gears (got 373's now). Don't think I want to go with Nitrous.... sounds dangerous to parts.

I wanna go quick. Recommendations will be appreciated.

take off as much weight as you can. If it's heavy and it doesnt have a purpose, remove it or exchange it for a light weight part made of fiberglass or plastic. Leave the spare tire at home. Take the stereo sub-woofer box out when racing. If you have an xcab you can remove the rear seat and save a ton of weight. Replace the rear bumper with a roll pan. Remove the tailgate and any bed cover when racing. Fold your mirrors in when racing to minimally reduce wind drag. If its heavy and must be in the truck, move it to the bed area if you can to help put weight on the tires. Last but not least, go on a diet or hire a jockey to drive the truck. That's what makes Danica Patrick so fast since she only weighs about 105 and the other drivers are 160+.

Would switching to an electric fan be of any help? Throttle body? Hotter ignition system? Better plug wires?

I'm still atuned ( ) to distributor ignition stuff so I'm thinking MSD, jets, etc. What external mods can be made here off the EFI and supercharger thing?

I don't want to talk about my weight....

Dang Red, are you slipping?

I was sure there would be something in your post about 4.11 gearing and a locker I can't begin describe my disappointment

A couple things i'll try and tackle here:

E-fans: DO IT. This is a great, nice gain low pain mod. Recommend a Nelson fan harness and 160* t-stat to go w/ it. Plenty of posts here to serach for advice and different setups. Your Nelson tune probably has the on/off temps already programmed. Check w/ Allen to make sure.

Ignition Wires: If still running carbon conductor stockers, DO IT. Stay w/ a no gimmick, well known brand of the spiral conductor type. MSD, Magnecor, Taylor. Don't know your mileage, but maybe check the plugs too.

TB upgrade: Don't buy an aftermarket TB. Maybe a port job if you're so inclined. I have a Shaner S3 port job on mine. IMHO, it's hardly worth it.

I can't give him all my secrets. One day I may have to line up next to him and lay down the whoop. Who told you about my 4.10s and limited slip? Dang, all my speed secrets are getting posted somewhere. Going to have to change my password so that doesn't happen again.

I need to extend the steering wheel and foot controls to the bed of the truck so that my fat 240lbs can be over the wheels when I race.

Got Edelbrock shorties and Flowmaster. Haven't gutted the converters.... is it worth it?

Fan and wires coming up.... easy fix's! Gears sound like a good idea for part of my winter project(s), along with some interior work. I got a beater to drive daily.

You could use an LS2 trottle body. I don't know what they cost, but they are significantly larger.

Other than that the things that made the largest difference on my truck are
1. Cam - I used a mild 212/218 551/551 115
2. Stall - I've just put this in, but everything feels snappier now.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106
