    Question NooB to N2O

Well Some Of U Know I Took The Plunge And Got Some Juice For The Little 4.8 ,,yea Yea I Know Im Always Talking About Being N/a Lol,well Its Till I Can Save Some Funds For The New Set Up.

Anyways Had Some Questions,,im Going To Start With A 75 Shot,,,will It Make A Big Difference?...

Also N20 Tune Affect The Way It Runs When Not On The Juice?

Where Does The A/f Ration Have To Be When On The Juice?

Where Should I Set The Juice To Kick In At?what Rpm?what Gear?

Im A Noob To N20 Its Gonna Be My First Time Trying This Stuff, see How It Goes..

Normally the tune retards timing 2* so you will lose power n/a.

Couple guys are working on an IAT trick to bypass that (wire in a resistor, flip switch when using spray to retard timing)..leaves it normal rest of the time.

Are you going wet or dry shot? With wet, companies normally recommend pills for fuel/spray...with a dry, the maf does the work...don't think you can change much.

As far as when...depends on driver/setup. I know guys that spray off the line. With you having a truck with stock suspension (i'm assuming) that just won't work for you. Spraying at beginning of 2nd would probably make most sense (if you break lose, you may have to wait a little longer on that), depends on gearing/etc for rpms...just make sure you're out of it long before that tranny wants to shift.

a 75 shot will be felt, but not a huge kick in the pants. but it will still be fun

with only a 75 shot, somewhere between 2* and 4* of timing will probably be pulled, so not a huge difference... but maybe a few HP.

a good safe A/F ratio to be at while spraying is about 11.5 or so, you can go a little leaner, but that will keep you in the "safe zone"

the common rule of thumb is to set your window switch to start at 3000rpm and have it shut off 200 before the rev limiter if you want to spray thru the shifts, or set it to 200rpm below the shift points if you dont want to spray thru them...

and i would definitely suggest you read up on nitrous. just anything you see, read about it. im constantly reading and learning about it and still have a long long ways to go!! you can never know enough, and the more you know, the safer you wil be with it! good luck!

Depends on what you spray. I can get 3-6 street runs on a 10lb depending on how long I spray. I spray 150 though.

depends on how big the shot is dude, on a 75 shot youll prolly get about 6-8 passes on a 10lb, and i would try to lauch on a 75 especially if you have slicks or DR's also dont wait until 2nd if you dont hook outta the hole, then wait til after the 60' then grab it and never let go.

You use .8 lbs of nitrous for every 100 HP of nitrous you're spraying for 10 seconds.
