    6l90e Trans!

So si this trans any good because if I would do the trans swap this is the one I would like to go with I think speartech is making control module for it, but it needs the 58x however I know scoggindickey is sell crank sensor converters for engine swaps but I don't know if they have one for 24x to 58x!

Katech or someone like that makes a converter for 24x to 58x reluctor. Its a signal box to simulate crank pulses to match to your needs. Whomever makes the control box you're speaking of may be able to tune it to work for a 24x reluctor.

You don't have to do anything to them but conversion, you'll have to do that with any transmission that isn't stock. The conversion on the front page to 80e details pretty much everything you'll have to do to convert from 60e to 80e. It takes work but the 80e is a whole lot less expensive and it uses the tried and true th400 as a basis for the internals and gets better from there. You don't "have to" do a shift kit but a 10" converter is highly recommended to help it let the engine rev quicker. The 80e is made for an 8000lb vehicle whereas the 60e was only designed for a mass of 6000 lbs. I drag the hell out of my 80e running a 408 and spraying 200+ on top of it which equal 600HP on the dyno rollers. Nitrous is harder on the transmission than a turbo ever will be.
