    4l80E Plug & Play

Guys, since I'm probably fine tuning my ride on the single 76 turbo, boosting probably 12-15 psi, I want to Go to a monster 4L80E now, so when Allen TT it, wont go stall for a while.

    Any Recomendation..Shops, Types, anything....?

BTW, befor u cricify me, I know my L5 4L60E won't even hold the 12-15psi for my current setup, but is all I got here, and I'm resing to toast it any way.

Also I haye the 4L80E, cause I had so many bad Xperiences with 4 2500 Suburbans with 350ci, every year have to repair them or build them up...just grow my resistance, but u all guys swear on this trannys almost religiusly, I have to fall for one....what will be the purpose to ask u, if not to learn of ur trials and errors!!!!!

Just do it, you'll never look back and regret the day you went 80e. That is if you put a lightweight stall converter with it. Stock 80e converters are HP hogs.

Transmissioncenter.net has everything you need to do the swap, minus the driveshaft modification. Trans, xmember already modified, yoke, need one additional speed sensor pickup and wiring and then you need to re-pin the round connector or buy the adapter and speed sensor wiring from Allen. After that you need an 80e overlay in your PCM so it shifts correctly.

Yeah, was thinking in that too, but since "Nelson has a bad rep in p&P harness" don'tt wanna go that way..hahahahahahahahahahaha

I'll be needing 2 of those ugly and heavy 4L80e per Dr Allen Recomendation...doing swap to oldy maro too, no 60e will hold

ship the trans stuff to Allen and have him install it for you? Save shipping across two countries.

    Red,

That's a great advice, so the LSX 454 could come with the tranny mount.

and the rest of the Conversion kit for the truck plus the other tranny will be shipped here to bust my fingers once again !!!!
