Have a 99 5.3 and i have an exhaust leek that is driving me crazy
i dont hear it at a stand still only with a load. It is most loud going up a
the highway with the A/C on. Where would it be most likely to leek from
guys the head or the collector. Is there any way i can check it, i cant stand noises and this one sucks.

get under your truck and look for any spots that are turning a dark black. your problem will most likely be at the manifolds or where the Y pipe connects to the intermediate pipe.

I had a leak at my y-pipe connection and it bugged the hell out of me too. But a couple twists of the old socket wrench and I was in good shape.

Me too but I had to go buy a new gasket for the y-pipe to manifold on the driver side to seal it up.
