There are two holes in the front of the cam area in which you are supposed to slide rods all the way down the sides of the lifters to hold them in place. It is a factory designed hole. Rotate the cam a couple turns as mentioned before and then slide a piece of rod all the way in, 5/16" rod I believe. I haven&#39;t tried it yet but have seen it documented.
does anyone have a picture of these holes or a description of where they are ... im gonna put a cam in but i dont wanna have a lifter slide down into the engine that would be pretty aggrivating id rather be 100% sure that theyre gonna stay in place.. [/b]
I second that. Also, what is the proper torque on the rocker arm nuts?
