There are two holes in the front of the cam area in which you are supposed to slide rods all the way down the sides of the lifters to hold them in place. It is a factory designed hole. Rotate the cam a couple turns as mentioned before and then slide a piece of rod all the way in, 5/16" rod I believe. I haven't tried it yet but have seen it documented.
