The cam was $150 on ebay, that was the cheapest price I have found yet by $100. The springs were just over $100 with shipping from GMpartsdirect.com.

As for the installation you have to remove the AC condenser, radiator, front grill, timing cover and chain and water pump, I would also unbolt the alternator bracket, it makes it a bit easier. Only the valve covers have to be removed so you can loosen the rocker arms. Just rotate the cam a few times and make sure the pushrods stay up and you can pull the cam out. Allen taught me that little trick
