Allen dyno'ed my truck after installing my cam. 8psi STS non intercooled, efans, stock bottom end.

394 rwhp and it was still climbing. Says he backed off cause he didn't know if my tranny would hold together (he didn't know it was built up).

Methanol kit will be wired tonight. Probably will not re dyno it anytime soon, but I estimate at least another 40hp. Allen suggests boosting to 10 psi after I get the meth set right. LOOK OUT!!!

Jerry, let me know the REAL benefits of the meth.

LOL, he's needs a 6.0L first, but i'm sure we can get'em there.

The cam in there really helped HP, stock was somewhere around 230hp, the turbo gives you another 100 or so, then the cam brought it up to almost 400hp!
I think with a bit of cool down (it's been hot as hell here) we could have gotten that 400hp number for you.
btw cam specs for those who want a turbo cam on a 5.3:
    218/216-.563/.561-115+3 (btw they are $350)

Go for the 10psi, have it come on about 7psi. Your truck will be kicking ass, if it can get traction

    see ya soon,

    allen

I guess engines have gotten a lot more efficient in the last few years than they used to be. 20 years ago you could easily double your hp just by adding a turbo and a little more fuel. 50% just doesn't seem as impressive any more.

It's time to start putting the game plan together for my 93 engine. I am trying to decide if I should go LS1, LQ9, LQ4 or LS2.

I am sure they'd love to get $9000 for it. Hell, I have 93 C1500 I'd love to sell for $12,000 but I'm not going to post it for sale on Ebay.
