The 4-71 is so rarely used I'm not sure there is an intake that will work. There are 142/144 cu in manifolds and 6-71 manifolds. My suggestion would be to get some $$$ on eBay for the "vintage" 4-71 and use it for the build.

So the 4-71 is a vintage /old blower?IVe never seen a 4/71 so i really cant tell,but the guy that had it says its a 4/71.Its larger than the b&m blowers.Ya know theyre street mini shitz?So they do make some intakes for sbc to ls style motors?ya makes sense its the intake that changes,not the blower.Thanks gas.do ya know were I can get haeders and mounts for an ls to vega chassis?I had a 62 CHEVY II we found mounts and headers for ,but they weere on a ebay kit i cuold never find again.thanks again.

use the mounts you have already in it and just get conversion mounts for a LSx to V8 chevy swap with the 1" backspacing.

good luck on headers. Sounds like a one off custom approach there. Search the web. I though Hooker made some but they only have big block and small block headers, no LS1 swappers.
