    Custom CAI Cover

    i spent the day molding and forming some plexiglass to make a cover for the CAI filter.

    Looks pretty sweet man. I'm hoping to have a cover made for mine...when it gets here ....and get junebug etched onto it get Virgil to make me one.

    haha, it pretty much is. i just molded some plexi and used pipe insulation to seal the edge

    now dont take this wrong, but im sitting here arguing my brother, he isnsist that this must be a joke... is it?

    i dont see what that piece of plexi glass is accomplishing sitting over top of your filter sealed to absolutely nothing? and whats with the ... noodle?

    haha, believe it or not it keeps the intake air temp down. i monitored the temp before and after and it dropped anywhere up to 6 degrees. now it only sits about one degree above outside temp. and the "noodle" is just foam pipe wrap to help seal the edge
