All of the factory wiring and computer can be thrown in the garbage....perhaps. Speed/tach should be no problem coming off the new PCM. Oil pressure/fuel/volts/temp come from the senders, but the temp thing gets tricky. I used a 3 wire from a Camaro i think, and its pretty far off. Some people say to do swappy things with oil pressure, but i used the 5.3 one and my gauge works?? You should be able to have all your truck stuff work with either computer. Should you keep your ABS computer? I dunno....

I'm not 100% familiar with what other 95ers kept and tossed..Jon?

The water temperature gauge works perfect by simply using a 4.3 V-6 sender, placed at the right rear cylinder head, via an adapter(from S & P), because its just an anolog gauge/sender set-up. At least it did for me in my '96.

I was also told not to use the 98 sensor, because it was way off.

I used the three wire sensor and it seems to read about where it should, usually reads right around the first 1/4 mark same as the old 5.7 did.
