    Ls2 Short Block

    Selling my project LS2 engine less the heads. Will remove heads when sold. Engine has 18,000 miles on it when replaced. Has a spun rod, broken oil pump and a crack oil pan from customer running over a rock in the road. It will come with a new pan and gaskets. Perfect for a 408 build. Engine was in an 05 Vett. 24x crank $600


    Back of engine is clutch dust

    5.3, E-fans, LPP longtubes w/offroad Y, Dual Magnaflow, K&N Cold Air, 160 thermo, Voodoo 212/218 .531/.531 113 cam, Nelson Tune, 4:11, Built 4L65E, TrailBlazer converter. SOLD

    As good as a new one, I was just going to replace the crank and one or two rods and run it. I'm going to do a 5.3 TO 5.7 instead. Your up North right you can come by and see it.

    about 6 months ago i would have dropped cash on it, but i bought a 5.3L to make a 5.7L out of. so yeah, super deal though

    Not too certain you can do a 408 using an aluminum block, maybe a 403. You can't cut the cylinders much at all on aluminum blocks, just can hone them out about .005" larger and that's it before they start getting marginal.
