I snapped an output shaft a week ago. Been driving a company truck during the down time. Should be back together in about one more week. Billet shafts on the way.

pulled the motor out of mine in october for some well needed performance up grades and found out in november that the plant I was working at was filling for bankrupcy. My trucks been sitting ever since but plans are in the works to have it back up and running by next month.

That's a lot more trucks down than what I tought!!Hopefully everyone can be up and running again soon and be able to make the truck shootout in February.
An update on mine:
My motor should be ready this week, get installed next week and tuned at Nelson next Friday. Is anyone going to be at Nelson's on the 31st?? I'll have to drive back that afternoon but would like to meet up with anyone who will be in the area.

Mines been down for a few months now also .Im just pissed at it so im taking my time and doing OF COURSE an 80e swap.after 8 transmissions ,the last one i built with all flt spec parts and spent an buttload of money on ,including billet shaft,wich i snapped at about 100 from 2-3 b y the way.so now I aquired a hd transfer case with only 5k on it for the right price,im changing the tranny and transfer ,I just didnt wannt the transfer to be the weak link after alll this work,and recently also did the 14 bolt swap.soo now ive got to get my nelson swap harness , new driveshaft,cut crossmember and install.maybe another month or so.Then it can sit all winter wile i do the twins.AS soon as i can find out a price for mics kit from allen and see what it does on mics truck,I might have missed that cus im only on alittle bit each day.

hey man the wiring isnt hard, just change the S and U wires around, then get another speed sensor and plug it into you 23 and 24 pin on your PCM

Mine has been down on and off for the last 4 years!
Got it going a couple months ago with another engine, laid down 800+hp, now the engine is out and sold.
Got my new engine mounts in and the old low compression engine will be in this month hopefully, I can't wait.
I set the engine back about 4 inches, so that requires a few mods, shorten the downpipes, driveshaft, and mod the crossmember, going to redo the entire engine harness as well.
In about month it'll be done, laying down close to 1000hp.

'94 Chevy Truck: 8.9 et, 408 twins
I bought my 67 with a blown tranny 3 years ago. Did all the body work and now its in my shop getting longarm suspension with king coilovers. Havent started my stroker build yet. Have a cammed LQ9 but im going to put that in an older daily driver. I plan on shooting for 650 to 700 NA from my stroker. Any guys that have built big block LS motors have any reccommendations? Probably going to start with an LSX block. Short stroke big bore for some r's
