I remember your truck now from dyno day. That is a nice truck man.

IMO....easier to pull bed than to drop the tank, especially if you have a few friends laying around...I use a lift, but cherry picker and friends work just as well

I lifted the bed off last time I changed the pump. I will never ever drop the tank again. I had the bed off completely by myself with no damage to the truck in 30 minutes. I had it back on and bolted down in about 15 minutes. Thats really good for my unmechanical self. Plus with bed off you can test the pump and make sure you dont have any leaks inside the tank that effect pressure. Also a note for the walbro. Make sure you get a real walbro that has a check valve in it. Mine doesnt and I have to cycle the ignition to prime the pump to get it to start.

I use a lift and by myself get one back on the road in 30 minutes from start to finish. Pick ups are tougher than utilities that take about 20 minutes. Do a bunch and you'll see.

Then again...no lift = bed off for me too....no question. 6 bolts, four friends, 24 beers, one ground...

Yeah with my old 1991 me and a friend each grabbed a side and carried it back. Now for bad news/good news, not sure which. I checked the fuel pressure again today while the engine was cold. The pump makes a little noise but builds plenty of pressure. I started it up and every time I even touch the gas it goes to 60-65. I am out of ideas.
